Ambulatory ECG Monitoring (Holter Monitor & Other Devices) – Guidelines & Peer Review

This guideline was developed by the Guidelines and Protocols Advisory Committee (GPAC) which is a joint committee of the British Columbia Medical Association (BCMA) and the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Peer review is a critical component of the guideline development process. Please complete the enclosed questionnaire and return it to us by e-mail at:  hlth.guidelines@gov.bc.ca no later than January 31, 2013.  Responses may also be submitted by fax at (250) 952-1417.

Over 50 guidelines and protocols for physicians in BC are currently posted on the GPAC web site, along with printable copies of guideline summaries, associated flow sheets, and patient guides.  A complete set of guidelines and summaries may also be downloaded to a hard drive or to a USB/flash drive from the GPAC web site www.BCGuidelines.ca.

As of November 2012, BC Guidelines launched a mobile version of their website. Now all BC Guidelines can be easily viewed from any mobile device, such as iPhone, Android and Blackberry. At this time, the BC Guidelines iPhone App will no longer be supported or updated. To receive up-to-date BC Guidelines information simply access: www.BCGuidelines.ca via your mobile device’s browser.
