Further details re: Pre-Conference Workshops (May 8)
- Foot & Ankle Assessment (Dr. Teri Fisher, MD, CCFP) – Common foot and ankle conditions and physical exam techniques. Come prepared to examine each other’s feet. (morning session)
- Rheumatology (Dr. Kam Shojania, MD, FRCPC) – Initial approach to the patient with joint pain: Red flags for inflammatory arthritis. (morning session)
- Radiology Assessment (Dr. Sonny Bhalla, MD, CCFP) – Radiology 101: What to order, when and why, and how to interpret the report. (afternoon Session)
- Driver’s Assessment, Office of the Superintendent of Motor Vehicle Branch (Donna Ward, Nurse Case Manager) – The driver’s medical: what you need to know and how to do it. (afternoon session)
Workshops will be on a first come, first serve basis. There is a limit of 80 people per workshop due to room size.
