CRNBC Announces New Liability Protection Provider
CRNBC is pleased to announce that beginning March 1, 2016, B.C. nurses will receive their professional liability protection, along with numerous associated services, from the Canadian Nurses Protective Society (CNPS). This is a significant and welcome change for British Columbians as well as B.C. RNs and NPs.
In addition to professional liability protection, CNPS also offers legal advice, risk management services and legal assistance to eligible registered nurses.
BCNPA is please to see that its advocacy work on behalf of Nurse Practitioners has strengthened the supports that we need as a profession. Thank you to Cynthia Johansen (CRNBC-CEO/Registrar) and Chantal Leonard (CNPS CEO) for making this possible.
